Dr. Philippe KINDYNIS
Doctor of Medicine, Radiologist FMH, Doctor Philippe Kindynis studied at the University of Geneva, obtained his medical degree there in 1981 and defended his doctoral thesis in 1986.
Doctor Kindynis is a FMH specialist in medical radiology since 1988. After a solid basic training at the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and the Morges Hospital, including standard radiology, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and barium digestive examinations, he continued his training in the United States.
After completing a fellowship in osteoarticular and interventional radiology in San Diego with Professor Donald Resnick, Dr. Kindynis was one of the precursors of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in this field when he returned to Geneva in 1990.
Author of numerous publications, he was appointed assistant chief of clinic at the HUG and then joined the radiology department at the Clinique Générale Beaulieu, integrating new technologies, notably PET-CT. He also continued to teach at the Haute Ecole de Santé for almost 28 years.
Valuing the relationship of trust established between the prescribing physician, the radiologist, and the patient, he strives, to ensure quality service based on advanced technology combined with a human dimension and to place the patient at the center of his work.
